Largest Akshardham temple to be built in America

The largest Akshardham temple will be built in America. This temple will also be the largest hindu temple on American land.

Bochasanvasi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarany Sansthan (BAPS) has a record of building 1000 temples across the globe. Under the observation of Shree Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the sect has built two giant Hindu Swaminarayan temples in Gandhinagar, capital of Gujarat and in New Delhi. The new temple will be built in Robinsvil, New Jersey.

Sadhu Brahmviharidas of BAPS says, “Gandhinagar Akshardham temple built in 1992 spreads in 23 acres while the Delhi temple(2005) has covered 100 acres area. American temple will be built in 102 acres. This Akshardham will become America’s biggest Hindu temple. The Shilanyas- foundation stone ceremony completed by Pramukh Swami himself.”

According to him, this temple will have a memorial and exhibition of Vedic ancient Culture Of India and there will be huge water fountain to be built in the premises. Inhouse team consisting of BAPS technocrats will look after the whole process of building temple, he added.
