Which is the best month to visit Rohtang Pass?

From May to August, the summer season is considered the best time to visit Rohtang Pass because of the moderate temperature which is perfect to escape from the hot waves of summer from across the country. It is more convenient to trek and hike on the Pass as well as set up camps during the summer season.

Temperature during summer is recorded between 20 to 32 degrees Celsius. It remains closed due to heavy snowfall during the winter period. However, the nearby Solang Valley offers snow activities to compensate. This beautiful Pass of Himachal is said to be the only pass in the country to be covered by snow throughout the year.
